Some weeks ago, I bought a rucksack and mountain shoses. For I had not had any mountain goods.
As the paths on Fuji are good condition, you can climb without special goods. But, they make easier to walk.
Besides, if we had not bought anything, we would not carry that plan into action…yes, I know that… It was necessary to buy…
Maintenant, c’est la saison de pluie au Japon, jusqu’à la mi-juillet.
En Japonais, on appelle cette saison つゆ”tsuyu”. Et en caractère chinois, on écrit 梅雨, qui veut dire “la pluie des prunes”; 梅 signifie ume, ou la prune japonaise, et 雨 signifie la pluie. Donc, si on traduisait ce mot littéralement, on le appellerait “la pluie des prunes”. Mais ça serait un mot absurde…
Alors, dans ce mot japonais a le sens plus compliqué. Au Japon, le prunier japonais (l’arbre d’ume) est un arbre important depuis plus de 1000 ans. Et, traditionnellement, nous mangeons des prunes (des fruits d’ume). Et le juin est la période à récolter ces fruits. Donc, 梅雨 signifie, “la saison de pluie où on récolte des prunes japonais”.
Dans cette saison, on ne peut pas sevent voir le soleil… Mais c’est aussi la saison où le vert des arbres est beau!!

If you want to climb Mt. Fuji, choosing the season is not so difficult. Because except for the mountain experts, Fuji is opened only in July and August for us. (So, if you aren’t an expert, you can’t see the New Year sunrise at the top of Fuji, unfortunately…)
In the Fuji, you can go by car up to the 5th stage (the middle of the mountain). So most of the people who are to climb this mountain, they start from that 5th stage. The parts of the mountain below this point are opened at all seasons. But in the higher parts, there are a lot of snow except in the Summer. And Mt. Fuji is not suitable for skiing at all. Therefore, it is closed most of the year. Yeah, I think the Winter Fuji is too dengerous for the ordinary people like me.
So, the season for climbing is the Summer. It’s not difficult. And, the next question, when is the best in the Summer then? It is not a difficult question either. Before the Summer, we have a rainy season in June and July which ends about the 20th July, usually every year. Plus, in August, it is said the weather around the Fuji becomes less stable than July. …In conclusion, the second half of the July is the best to try. It’s easy! …But, if it rains every weekend in July?? That’s the problem… All I can do is praying to the god of Mt. Fuji!! 
This Summer, I’d like to climb Mt. Fuji with my friends!
Once I did it when I was in junior high, with my family and my father’s colleagues. It was a special experience! So, when I was in university, I wanted to try again with my friends. But, it was not realized… And 10 years have already passed. …Recently I’ve forgotten that plan… but, yeah, I have to try it!
Of course the Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, but the paths are not so hard. Even a 13-year-old girl could win the top of the mountain. So, why not now??
Still, I know I need to prepare. First of all, it is necessary to do some physical exercises because now my physical strength is less strong than when I was a junior high student… Actually, doing the exercises is another purpose of this plan:P If you have a purpose (=climing the Fuji in my case), you can make efforts easier than without a purpose.

Au Japon, la période des petites vacances de printemps a commencé, qui s’appèlle “Golden Week,” (=la “Semaine d’or”). Oui, c’est anglais, mais nous dison comme ça en japonais, “ゴールデン・ウィーク” 
C’est parce qu’il y a plusieurs jours fériés dans cette période. Et, on prend souvent des congés payés aussi pour prolonger ses vacances, et fait le voyage. Comme c’est très difficile à prendre des longues vacances au Japon, la Golden Week est très importante.
Mais, alors, en conséquence, il y a trop de monde partout ! Car tout le monde est en vacances, sauf des gens des magasins et des restaurants… Et les prix d’avion et des hôtels augmentent beaucoup…! Donc, je reste chez moi ou dans mon quartier, au moins pour aujourd’hui, pour lire, et pour penser à faire des plans des vacances d’été
Mais, cette année, c’est difficile à prendre des longues vacances de Golden Week parce que ces “vacances” dépendent du calendrier… Aujourd’hui, c’est le jour férié, mais de demain à vendredi, ce sont des jours ordinaires, malheureusement… Et puis, à partir de samedi jusqu’à mardi prochain, ce seront des jours fériés successifs, mais c’est moin d’une semaine…
Alors, la semaine prochaine, j’aimerais sortir à la montagne pas très loin de Tokyo. J’espère qu’il fera beau!!
Au Japon il y a 2 sortes de maladies en printemps.
Ici, l’année fiscale (scolaire et des affaires) commence au avril… Donc, beaucoup de gens font leur résolutions, et on commence des nouvelles choses. Mais, de temps en temps, on en fait trop: “cette annee, j’apprends l’anglais, pour cela, j’écouterai 5 emmissions de radio!” ou “Je vais au club du sport 5 fois par semaine pour mon régime!!” On appele ce phénomène la ”Maladie au avril”.
Pourtant, cette “maladie” est nouvelle, et le nom est comme un jeu de mot. En japonais il y a le mot la “Maladie en mai”, qui est la deuxième maladie au printemps japonais. Celle-ci est plus sérieuse et ce mot exsite depuis plusieurs années (je ne sais pas depuis quand…) Cette “maladie” signifie l’humeur mélancolique en mai. En avril, la “nouvelle année” commence et souvent nos milieux changent, c’est la saison du changement. Donc, on doit s’y adapter et bien sûr qu’on est très occupé à la fin d’année et au début d’année. Et puis, à partir de la fin d’avril jusqu’à la première semaine d’au mois de mai, il y a une période de petites vacances qui s’appèlle la “Golden Week.” Alors, après cette vacances, beaucoup de gens tombent dans la mélancolie. C’est la “Maladie au mai” au Japon. Les suicidés augmentent dans ce mois…
Depuis une semaine, je suis d’humeur un peu mélancolique. Puisque on est encore en avril, c’est pas la “Maladie au mai”! ^^ Peut-être que c’est à cause du climat, récemment il pleut beaucoup et la température change très souvent. Mais en même temps, je me sens un peu fatiguée. Donc, dans la semaine de “Golden Week”, j’aimerais aller voir la nature / le vert… faire une randonnée à pied, peut-être…
Last summer when I went to France, I couldn’t speak English
because I had not used it for some years!
I could read, but I couldn’t remember the words when I wanted to speak.
Unfortunately, my French level is not so high,
sometimes I couldn’t answer or explain neither in French nor in English…
So, I started to go an English school.
And grace of that and some international SNSs,
now my English is better than last summer.
But there is another problem.
As my foreign languages are not in high level,
the words are mixed in my head…
Sometimes, I have to think which word is English(or French).
Last summer, such a problem never came. Hmmmm……
I go to a small private English school in Tokyo.
It’s a small school with only 4 teachers.
Recently, 1 teacher decided to go back to England.
So we had a farewell party.
As he was one of my class teachers (2 teachers for 1 class in this school), we are sad.
But, he’ll go back to his country because he has a dream.
He wants to make a guest house and teach English there.
Maybe I can stay there in the future, if his dream comes true.
So, we said “See you” to him.
I wish him good luck!
